The two biggest things I learned was to make the resume longer than a page (based on the information I wanted to include) and be specific in my description of my related experience. Here are some more tips.
Do's:
- Related work experience (population - be specific {age, gender, diagnosis}, setting)
- College education (major, type of degree) (Ours in the fall will be Recreation Management with an option in Therapeutic Recreation)
- Professional involvement
- High School involvement
- salary history
