Hello TRC-ers!

We don't present to the Marriott School for another two to three weeks, so we cannot have an official meeting or plan any events until we are official, but as soon as we are approved and official, we'll hit the ground running!

If you would like to be a Committee Representative (head of a committee) then please sign up for an interview. We have a google doc of interview times, if you need a link to that google doc, e-mail us at byu.trc@gmail.com

If you would like to look at our club charter (to see what the club would like to accomplish) and the break down of how many committees we are planning to have and the duties of each committee, e-mail us at byu.trc@gmail.com and we'll e-mail that to you.

Mission:

The Brigham Young University Therapeutic Recreation Club's mission is to provide necessary services and opportunities for BYU Recreational Management and Youth Leadership: Therapeutic Recreation majors to help them further their individual learning experiences, expand their career networks for the future, and prepare them for upcoming internships, careers, and graduate school by exposing them to real-world experience through volunteer work and speaking with and hearing from TR professionals.

Objectives:

Our general purpose is to prepare BYU's TR students for future TR career goals. The club engages in the following types of activities: networking opportunities, personal mentoring, volunteer opportunities, and professional speakers.
